A few weeks ago, the OSCE International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission in Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the charitable organization BF “Nasha Misiya” (“Our Mission”) in the city of Nikopol.
As part of this partnership, at the end of the current week, we delivered a humanitarian aid shipment to support the regions of Ukraine affected by the ongoing crisis.
The humanitarian cargo included:
- cereals (rice, pea, and semolina);
- high-quality pasta;
- legumes (black beans and common beans);
- tomato paste;
- rapeseed oil;
- hygiene products (baby nappies, diapers, urological pads, laundry powder, liquid soap, antiseptics, dishwashing liquid);
- household appliances (a washing machine, refrigerator, and a 5.5 kW generator).
The main part of this aid will be handed over tomorrow to the Territorial Center for Social Protection, in accordance with the official request received.
Some hygiene products and food will be kept for the needs of the charity canteen.
Today, as part of our social support program, our guests received premium-class dishwashing gel.
We express our sincere gratitude to:
- Béla Nagy, Humanitarian Projects Coordinator of the OSCE International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission — for his personal involvement in the preparation and formation of this shipment, for his responsiveness, openness, and commitment to helping everyone who finds themselves in difficult life circumstances. Your contribution is not only material aid but also a true manifestation of humanity and solidarity;
- Attila Nagy, Humanitarian Projects Coordinator of the OSCE International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission — for tireless support of humanitarian initiatives, coordination of efforts, and personal assistance in the prompt delivery of this shipment;
- Serhii Oleksandrovych Teslia, Mission Coordinator, who was born and lived for many years in the city of Nikopol, where many of his friends and people dear to his heart still remain — for his caring attitude, sincere desire to help, and personal initiative in directing aid specifically to those who need it most right now;
- Petro Petrovych Shpuhanich, Head of the OSCE Humanitarian Mission in Ukraine, and Vasyl Tarasovych Zorena, Deputy Head of the Mission — for strategic leadership, attention to the needs of affected communities, and consistent efforts to help those who need it most.
We also thank our partner in the delivery and distribution of aid — BF “Nasha Misiya” (“Our Mission”) and its head Kostiantyn Solonukhin — for their coordinated work and readiness to respond promptly to the needs of local communities.
The OSCE International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission in Ukraine will continue to coordinate efforts with international and national partners to ensure timely assistance to those who need it most.
