The Head of the non-governmental organization “International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission of the OSCE in Ukraine”, Petro Shpuganych, together with the humanitarian affairs curator Beilo Zigmond, visited a care home for the elderly and lonely.

During the visit, the Mission’s leadership communicated with the residents and reviewed the current issues related to improving their living conditions. In particular, the discussions focused on the provision of food, medicines, and other essential needs.

Petro Shpuganych emphasized that the Mission pays special attention to socially vulnerable groups, and supporting the elderly and lonely citizens is one of its priorities. He also outlined prospects for attracting additional resources through business contacts with members of the European Parliament and representatives of European Union institutions. These efforts are aimed at significantly improving the living conditions of those residing in the care home.

It should also be noted that the initiative of the Head of the Mission received a positive response from business circles in the Czech and Slovak Republics. In particular, Czech businessman and philanthropist Josef Chromiak, as well as the President of the Slovak Football Federation, Jan Kovacik, expressed sincere intentions to assist in the implementation of humanitarian initiatives. Their support represents charitable assistance directed toward realizing our humanitarian aspirations.
