At the invitation of the head of the public organization “My New Family,” which cares for orphaned children, a ceremonial event was held in honor of Mother’s Day.
The celebration was attended by representatives of the non-governmental organization “International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission” of the OSCE in Ukraine, as well as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Guatemala in Ukraine, Petro Shpuhanych.
During the event, Petro Shpuhanych delivered a heartfelt greeting to the head of “My New Family,” Valentyna Semenivna, and to the young girls in attendance — future mothers — with sincere wishes of love, strength, and happiness. He emphasized the importance of supporting every child, especially those who have been deprived of parental warmth.
Through the joint efforts of the “International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission” of the OSCE in Ukraine and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Guatemala in Ukraine, represented by Honorary Consul Oleksii Volodymyrovych Honcharov, active support is being provided to orphaned children. This partnership is based on shared values of humanism, care, and international solidarity.
The event brought together a wide range of participants — representatives of international organizations, government authorities, local governments, and foreign guests, including those from the United States.
The atmosphere of warmth, support, and sincerity created an unforgettable celebration for all attendees and inspired hope for the future in every child.
