Joining the OSCE organization

The non-governmental organization “International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission” of the OSCE brings together professionals who are committed to promoting peace, security, and the protection of human rights at the international level. To join our diplomatic mission, a candidate must meet high standards of both personal and professional integrity.

Key qualities include

  • A high level of ethics and morality

    The ability to act responsibly, with respect for universal human values, the principles of democracy, and the rule of law

  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills

    Ability to conduct negotiations, establish international contacts, and find compromises in complex situations

  • Responsibility

    Willingness to take on commitments and fulfill them at the highest level

  • Adaptability and flexibility

    Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the international environment and work effectively in multinational teams

  • Proficiency in foreign languages

    Knowledge of English is highly encouraged, while additional languages (such as Slovak, French, German, Spanish, etc.) are a significant advantage

  • Analytical thinking

    Ability to assess international events, anticipate their consequences, and develop effective response strategies

  • Ability to work in a team

    Skills in coordinating joint activities, leadership abilities, and openness to collaboration

After successfully passing an interview with the Head of the “International Diplomatic Humanitarian Mission” of the OSCE and receiving official approval of your candidacy, you will be required to provide the following documents

  • A photocopy of your international passport

  • Vehicle registration certificate (if a vehicle is owned)

  • A personally completed application form (attached)
